McAusland & Turner’s Managing Director, Albert Weatherill - has announced the expansion of McAusland’s Renewables Team into the ergo hub for renewables and environmental technologies at the Bridgehead Business Park, Hessle which overlooks the Humber Bridge.

Albert, who is also the Chairman of the Hull and Humber Chamber of Commerce Shipping & Transport Committee stated "We are delighted to be moving our specialist renewables Surveyors from our Hull HQ on Victoria Docks into the ergo, which is at the heart of the UK's Energy Estuary in July 2018.

Being a member of Team Humber Marine Alliance and the Greenport Hull supply chain network, it made perfect sense for us to show our support for them & the broader Humber Business Community as a whole to move our renewables team to these superb new facilities”.

McAusland’s Renewables Senior Surveyor and Resource Co-ordinator, James Curley added “The team could not think of a better, more well-connected hub to move to. We currently work with some of not only the Humber region’s Top Tier renewables businesses but also global companies such as Vestas Wind Power, Siemens Gamesa, Drax Bio Mass and Enviva, to name but a few.

The excellent state of the art facilities provided by ergo will, therefore, help us to continue to forge further new alliances within this growing industry sector as well as ensure continued support for our current business partnerships”.

Off the back of record high growth within the renewables sector, this most recent expansion marks a further milestone for McAusland, who have been in business as surveyors and consultants for over 130 years and whom now have offices across the UK as well as in Europe and as far afield as Russia and South Africa.

" The move to ergo has given us an excellent opportunity to have a dedicated onsite point of access for both tenants and the wider business population. This will enable us to continue our work in supporting regional businesses and promoting supply chain opportunities across the renewable sectors."
